The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Denver Broncos meet Sunday in NFL action from Sports Authority Field.

The Buccaneers enter this one at 1-1 on the season so far. Tampa Bay opened up with a 34-23 loss to the Saints, but then rebounded for a nice 31-17 victory over the Panthers in Week 2. As for the Broncos, they’re 0-2 after a couple of tough losses to open up the season. Denver dropped to the Titans 16-14, then fell to the Steelers 26-21. The Buccaneers had an unfortunate draw against a great Saints team in the opener, but were able to keep within striking distance for most of the 11-point defeat. Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady posted 239 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in his team debut. Ronald Jones led the rush on 66 yards, and Chris Godwin posted six catches for 79 yards.

Week 2 went better for Tampa Bay, resulting in a 14-point win over Carolina. Brady had 217 yards with a TD and a pick in that one, and Leonard Fournette rushed for 103 yards with two more scores. Mike Evans was the lead receiver there with 104 yards and a TD on seven grabs.

Over on the Broncos’ side, they’ve had a couple of tough losses, and both games have been close. In the 16-14 loss to the Titans in Week 1, Broncos QB Drew Lock posted 216 yards with a TD, and Noah Fant had 81 yards and a score off five catches. Melvin Gordon rushed 15 times for 78 yards and a TD.

Denver fought back from a 17-3 halftime deficit in the Steelers game, but ended up losing by five points in a frustrating Week 2. QB Jeff Driskel managed 256 yards, two touchdowns and a pick. Gordon rushed for 70 yards on 19 carries, and Courtland Sutton had 66 yards off three receptions.

The Buccaneers are 2-0-2 ATS in their last four games after a straight-up win and 4-1 ATS versus a team with a losing record. Tampa Bay is 3-1-2 ATS in their last six games overall and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite.

Meanwhile, the Broncos are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a straight-up loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five games as an underdog. Denver is 5-2 ATS in their last seven games on grass and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games in Week 3.

Pick: I’m going to stick with Tampa Bay here. The line on this one opened up pretty thin, and it’s inflated toward the Bucs since then. Given Tampa’s potential offensive pitemess, I’m mostly comfortable at anything under double-digits. Denver will likely keep it close initially, but I don’t see the Broncos hanging around later in the game. I like Brady and company to pull away and bag a cover in this one.
