The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Tennessee Titans meet Sunday in Week 4 NFL action from LP Field.  THIS GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL LATER THIS SEASON

The Steelers have done well so far this season at 3-0. Pittsburgh opened up with a 26-16 win over the Giants, then took out the Broncos 26-21 and the Texans 28-21. As for the Titans, they’re sitting at 3-0 as well. Tennessee has posted a trio of tense wins over the Broncos 16-14, the Jaguars 33-30 and the Vikings 31-30. All Pittsburgh’s wins this season have come by 10 points or fewer, and the Steelers’ last two have been by five points or less. Needless to say, it’s been an exhilarating and entertaining start. The Texans game last weekend was an example of Pittsburgh’s tricky season so far; the Steelers were down 21-17 at the half and outscored Houston 11-0 the rest of the way.

In that win over the Texans, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns. Eric Ebron was the top receiver there with five catches for 52 yards and a score. James Conner led the way on the ground with 18 carries for 109 yards and a TD of his own.

Over on the Titans’ side, they’ve had a similarly tense season so far. All of Tennessee’s wins have come by three points or fewer, including a one-point comeback victory over the Vikings last weekend. Tennessee was down 17-9 at the half in that game.

In the Week 3 win over Minnesota, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill put up 321 yards with one interception. Derrick Henry had a great outing on the ground in that one, with 26 carries for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Tops in receiving for the Titans was Kalif Raymond, with three big catches for 118 yards.

The Steelers are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games in Week 4 and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games on grass. Pittsburgh is 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 games as a favorite and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight games as a road favorite.

Meanwhile, the Titans are 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall and 0-5 ATS in their last five games on grass. Tennessee is 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 home games and 2-5-1 ATS in the last eight games in October.

Pick: I’m going Steelers in this one, but it’s going to be close. Pittsburgh has shown some pretty decent scoring capabilities so far, with at least 26 points in every game. The Titans have also hit 31 or more in two of their three games, but I don’t think this one will get too out of hand on the scoreboard. These teams seem like they’ll match up as a run-heavy, defense-oriented game, and in that context I’ll take the experience of the Steelers roster. Should be a really great one to watch, though.
