Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans – 6/12/20 Madden20 NFL Sim Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts meet Friday night in a Madden20 NFL simulation game.

The Houston Texans have one of the best difference makers on both sides of the ball in wide receiver Deandre Hopkins (98 overall) and defensive end JJ Watt (97 overall). Both of those guys can takeover a game even in the virtual world and their awareness of 99 overall makes them reliable in games like this with the computer leading the way. The Texans also have a solid left tackle in Laremy Tunsil who is an 87 overall rating and a 91 awareness rating. Quarterback wise, the Texans have Deshaun Watson who has a 86 overall rating and an 88 acceleration rating, so he can kill defenses with his arm or legs. The x-factor for the Texans is wide receiver Will Fuller, who has a 95 speed rating and 93 acceleration rating, giving him the ability to take the top off a defense. Bottom line, the Texans are one of the more underrated teams in Madden20.

The Indianapolis Colts weren’t given many favors in this game rating wise, but they have a respectable offensive line with Quenton Nelson and his 94 rating as well as Anthony Castonzo and his 85 overall rating. There’s also some decent options on the outside in TY Hilton and Eric Ebron, both who are ranked in the high 80s overall. After that, things start to fall off a bit with the Colts and it’s hard to find players who can takeover a game. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett is ranked 72 overall and has an 84 acceleration rating, and his awareness rating is just 74 so he comes with boneheaded plays in these simulation games. The Colts are one of those teams that have to play at a high level for 60 minutes and the second they make mistake things can unravel rather quickly. Most people aren’t running to the sticks to play with the Colts in Madden20.

The Houston Texans are one of my favorite teams to play with in Madden20 personally, so I like backing them in these simulations. The Indianapolis Colts are on the list of teams it’s hard to get up for or excited about in thee simulations due to a lack of difference makers, so even when they’re getting a decent amount of points, I still shy away most of the time.

Give me the Houston Texans in a comfortable victory.
