The Denver Broncos will look to bounce back from a 1-2 performance in the Sim Classic with a -42 point differential and a pair of double-digit losses. Phillip Lindsay leads the Broncos offensively with an 85 overall rating at RB with 93 carrying as well as 93 speed and 91 acceleration. Courtland Sutton is right behind as the Broncos’ top WR with 89 speed, 92 acceleration and 92 catching as part of his 84 overall rating. On defense, Von Miller leads Denver with a team-high 96 overall rating, including 93 tackling, 89 impact blocking, 90 finesse move and 93 power move. Chris Harris Jr. is at CB at 90 overall with a 91 man coverage rating and 90 speed. Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson make up a strong combination in the Denver secondary at 89 and 87 overall.

The Los Angeles Chargers will look to build on a solid showing in the Sim Classic that saw the Chargers finish in 4th place, losing in the conference championship and the 3rd place game. Keenan Allen leads the Chargers at 92 overall with 90 catching and 94 catching in traffic in addition to 89 speed, 92 acceleration and 92 agility while Hunter Henry is L.A.’s top TE at 87 overall with 89 catching as well. Melvin Gordon III and Philip Rivers aren’t on the Chargers in reality anymore, but they’re still on L.A. in this game at 84 overall with Gordon rated at 92 speed and 92 agility with 90 carrying and 90 juke while Rivers has 94 short pass accuracy and 92 medium pass accuracy. On defense is where the Chargers are keeping other top-rated players with Joey Bosa leading the defensive push at 91 overall with 90 impact blocking as well as 97 finesse move and 87 strength while Casey Hayward Jr. is at 91 overall in the secondary with 91 acceleration and 92 agility in addition to 89 speed and 90+ ratings in man coverage and zone coverage. Melvin Ingram III and Derwin James Jr. each come in at 88 overall on the defensive end for the Chargers.

I’ve gone back and forth on this game, but while Denver has had some solid moments, the Chargers are one of the sim teams that I’m really high on and being high on the Chargers made me some serious coin in the Sim Classic as the Chargers made it all the way to the conference championship and 3rd place games. The Chargers also whooped on Denver 55-24 in the group stage of the Sim Classic. I think this is another game where the Chargers flex some muscle, so I’ll lay the points with L.A. here.
