For our Buccaneers vs Lions NFL Player Props, we have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who travel to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions in the NFC Divisional Round. The Bucs upset the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card in Tampa, while the Lions edged the Los Angeles Rams in Detroit.

Buccaneers vs Lions NFL Player Props – Baker Mayfield Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-120)

Rejuvenated Baker Mayfield has been playing the best football of his career recently. In the last six games, including the playoff tilt against the Eagles, Mayfield threw for 11 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He impressed against Philly with 337 passing yards and three touchdowns and he will have another good opportunity to slice Detroit’s weak secondary.

The Lions have one of the weakest passing defenses in the NFL; they allow 247.4 yards per game to the opposing quarterbacks. Mayfield didn’t experience the best of times when the Bucs met the Lions earlier in the season. Detroit won 20-6 and Tampa was completely off on offense. Baker threw for 206 yards and an interception. It was just one of two games he failed to throw for a TD this year. However, Mayfield improved since, and I am sure he will manage to record at least two passing touchdowns this time out.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 91.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Amon-Ra St. Brown is Jared Goff’s No. 1 option through the air. He recorded 1,515 receiving yards in the regular season and added 110 more on seven catches in the Wild Card win over the Rams. St. Brown hit a 100-yard mark in four of his last five games, and in the aforementioned 20-6 win over Tampa Bay this year, he had 12 receptions on 15 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown.

We talked about Detroit’s weak secondary, but Tampa’s is even worse. The Buccaneers allow 248.9 yards to the opposing quarterbacks, which is the fourth-worst passing defense in the NFL. Prior to the Wild Card clash with the LA Rams, St. Brown scored a touchdown in four consecutive games. I am not going to back him to score one on Sunday, which could happen nevertheless, but I am backing him to get near 100 receiving yards. If he goes past the 100-yard mark, that wouldn’t be surprising either.

Hopefully, our Buccaneers vs Lions NFL Player Props analyzed piece will help you in making a profit on this NFC Divisional Round tilt. For more NFL player props, make sure to follow Sports Chat Place.
