The Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers clash Sunday in week 18 NFL action from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

The San Francisco 49ers will look to add to their 23-7 win over the Houston Texans in their last game. Jimmy Garoppolo has thrown for 3,494 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 INTs on 68% passing while Elijah Mitchell leads the Niners with 878 rushing yards and 5 scores and Deebo Samuel has 320 rushing yards with 7 scores on the ground in addition to a team-high 73 catches for 1,310 yards and 6 TDs through the air. George Kittle has 66 grabs of his own for 900 yards with 6 TDs and Brandon Aiyuk’s got 719 receiving yards and 5 scores this season. On defense, Fred Warner leads the 49ers with 129 total tackles while Azeez Al-Shaair has 102 total tackles and Nick Bosa has a team-high 15 sacks this season.

The Los Angeles Rams will look to add to their current five-game win streak to close out the year after a 20-19 win over Baltimore last time out. Matthew Stafford’s thrown for 4,648 yards, 38 touchdowns and 15 interceptions on 67.3% passing while Sony Michel and Darrell Henderson Jr. have combined for 1,490 yards and 9 TDs in the Rams’ backfield. Cooper Kupp leads the Rams in receiving with 138 grabs for 1,829 yards and 15 touchdowns while Robert Woods has 556 receiving yards and Van Jefferson has 771 receiving yards and 6 TDs as well this season. On defense, Jordan Fuller leads the Rams with 107 total tackles while Aaron Donald has a team-high 12.5 sacks and Leonard Floyd also has 9.5 sacks this season. Jalen Ramsey also has 3 interceptions for the Rams this season.

San Francisco is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 January games and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games as a road underdog. Los Angeles is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 division games while the under is 17-4 in their last 21 games as a home favorite.

I get why LA is favored here as the Rams need a win to have any shot at the #1 seed in the NFC. However, for some unexplainable reason, the 49ers own the Rams, winning five straight games outright against L.A. and I just think that the Niners have as much at stake here with their playoff lives in the balance as well. I think it’s a close game if the Rams break the streak or the Niners win this one outright. Either way, give me the 49ers and the points here.
