The Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings do battle Sunday in a week 6 NFL game from Hard Rock Stadium.

The Minnesota Vikings will try to add to their three-game win streak, sitting at 4-1 on the year after a 29-22 win over Chicago in their last matchup. Kirk Cousins has thrown for 1,327 yards, 7 touchdowns and 5 interceptions on 66.2% passing while Dalvin Cook leads the Vikings in rushing with 373 rushing yards this season. Justin Jefferson leads the Vikings’ receiving group with 40 grabs for 547 yards and a pair of touchdowns this season. On defense, Jordan Hicks has a team-high 45 total tackles including 28 solo tackles while Za’Darius Smith has 3.5 sacks this season.

The Miami Dolphins will look to rebound from back-to-back losses, falling to 3-2 after a 40-17 loss to the New York Jets in their last game. Tua Tagovailoa has thrown for 1,035 yards, 8 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 69.6% passing while Raheem Mostert has a team-high 260 rushing yards this season. Tyreek Hill leads Miami’s receiving group with 38 grabs for 524 receiving yards while Jaylen Waddle has 24 catches for 404 receiving yards and a team-high 3 touchdowns. On defense, Brandon Jones has a team-high 36 total tackles while Melvin Ingram and Brandon Jones each have a pair of sacks so far this season.

Minnesota is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a win while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 week 6 matchups. Miami is 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in October and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 week 6 matchups while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 week 6 matchups.

I get the case to be made for the Dolphins as a home underdog, but the QB situation is still murky at best and even with Tua, I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, the offense really has some issues and it’s becoming more and more apparent week to week. Minnesota’s been in close calls, so it feels a bit dicey to lay points with them on the road, but the Vikings are at least winning games and the sense of optimism is starting to fade a bit for the Dolphins. I think the Vikings win this game by at least a touchdown, so give me Minnesota laying the points here.
