-A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for Today’s Game between the Eagles and Giants.

Giants Need a Lose

The Giants had a chance for the number one overall pick, all they had to do was lose the last two games. They have already messed that up though, and now they really would benefit from a loss to help improve the draft position. Two games ago against the Atlanta Falcons, the Giants were defeated 34-7. In the last game against the Colts, the offense scored 45  points and they ended up winning by 12 points. Drew Lock looked like the guy the Broncos had hoped they drafted. He completed 17 of his 23 passes for 309 yard, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Tyrone Tracey Jr finished with 20 carries for 59 yards. Malik Nabers finished with seven carries for 171 yards and two touchdowns.

Overall this season the Giants are averaging 16.3 points while their defense is giving up 24.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 31st in the league while the defense is ranked 31st. In this game if they want to find success they are going to need good quarterback. Dexter Lawrence II is dealing with an elbow injury and he’s out for the season.

Why the Giants Will Cover Against the Eagles

  • Darius Slayton’s team has won three of its last four games with him playing against Jahan Dotson.
  • The Eagles have failed to cover the spread in eight of their last nine games at Lincoln Financial Field against teams that held a losing record.
  • The Giants have covered the spread in six of their last eight games at Lincoln Financial Field.

Will the Eagles Rest Thier Starters?

The big question for the Eagles heading into this game is if they will rest their starters. The Eagles have their playoff spot locked up so many are pushing for the Eagles to rest their starters, but as of Tuesday when this written,  there hasn’t been a decision made. In the last game against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles scored 41 points and they ended up cruising to the victory. Kenny Pickett completed 10 of his 15 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown. Tanner McKee completed 3 of his 4 passes for 54 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Saquon Barkley had a strong game, finishing with 31 carries for 167 yards. Wide Receiver DeVonta Smith had a strong game finishing with six catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns.

The Eagles are averaging 27.7 points while their defense is giving up 19.1 points per game. The offense is ranked 7th in teh league while the defense is ranked 3rd. In this game if they want to find success,  they are going to need the defense to be good. Creating a couple of turnovers would also be helpful.

Philadelphia Eagles vs NY Giants Prediction

With the Eagles maybe resting their starters, there are better games on the board to bet. That being said I was super impressed with what Drew Lock was able to do in his last start, and I expect that success is going to continue here. The Giants offense is going to find success against the Eagles defense, and that will be the difference as New York is going to get the job done. Back the Giants against the spread here.
