Pittsburgh failed to score any points in the first half, but they did out scored Houston by a total of 12-3 in the second half. The Steelers out gained Houston by a total of 344-255, but did have two turnovers. Justin Fields went 5-6 for 67 yards, while Kyle Allen went 17-23 for 193 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Daijun Edwards led the Steelers on the ground with 28 yards and one score.
Pittsburgh went 3-0 in the preseason last year, which started with a 27-17 win over Tampa Bay. Buffalo was out gained by a total of 340-200 and they had one turnover. The Bills did play Josh Allen briefly, who threw for 22 yards. Trubisky led the way for the Buffalo quarterbacks with 82 passing yards. Shane Buechele added 53 passing yards and one interception, while also rushing for 22 yards.
Buffalo went 2-1 in the preseason last year, which began with a 23-19 win over the Colts. The Bills lost 27-15 against the Steelers in their second game, before beating Chicago by a score of 24-21. Josh Allen should only play a couple of series in this game, which means Trubisky and Buechele will see most of the action.

Both of these teams are coming off of a loss in their first preseason game, but Buffalo was blown out and only gained 200 total yards. The Buffalo offense looked pretty lost against Chicago and neither Trubisky or Buechele looked very good. Pittsburgh played a much better second half against Houston after a bad first half and Kyle Allen nearly threw for 200 yards.
