Indianapolis Colts Betting Preview
The Colts have had a pretty good year so far—even if a few games have been relative close calls. Indy kicked things off with three straight wins over the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans, then took a 27-20 loss on the road versus the LA Rams. Indianapolis came back with wins over the Las Vegas Raiders, Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers in the next trio. In the win over the Chargers, Indy gave up 445 total yards (391 passing), 6.0 yards per play, 25 first downs and 8-of-16 on third-down tries but the offense kept the team ahead on 401 total yards, 24 first downs and no turnovers.
In their latest outing at home versus the Tennessee Titans, the Colts jumped out to a 17-7 lead by the break. Following 14 more points in the third quarter, Indy was well on their way to a 38-14 blowout home win. QB Daniel Jones finished with 272 yards and three scores on 21-of-29 passing, and top rusher Jonathan Taylor had a great day with 12 totes for 153 yards and two scores. Michael Pittman had eight catches for 95 yards and a touchdown as the team’s leading receiver in the winning effort.
Pittsburgh Steelers Betting Preview
Over on the Steelers’ side, they’ve had a wild ride so far. Pitt beat the lowly Jets in the opener before falling to the Seattle Seahawks in game two. Wins over the New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns came next ahead of a loss to the rival Cincinnati Bengals on the road 33-31. In that Thursday matchup the Steelers surrendered 470 total yards, 328 pass yards, 27 first downs, 6.5 yards per play and 7-of-14 on third-down tries. The offense responded with 396 yards, 19 first downs, 7-of-10 on third downs and two picks in the defeat.
Matched up against the Green Bay Packers last Sunday evening, Pittsburgh held a 16-14 edge going into the final quarter. The Steelers were stunned on a 21-6 deficit from there however, ultimately leading to a 35-25 home defeat in the end. QB Aaron Rodgers finished with a 24-of-36 line for 219 yards and a pair of scores while lead rusher Jaylen Warren had 13 carries for 62 yards. Roman Wilson added four catches for 74 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

Steelers vs Colts Prediction
I’ll go with the Colts here, but you could make a good case either way. Indianapolis beat up on a struggling Titans team in a home victory last weekend to the tune of 420 total yards, 8.1 yards per play and 21 first downs with no turnovers. The 3-of-9 on third-down tries was about the only thing to complain about. The defense held the Titans in check with 20 first downs and 6-of-15 on third-down conversion attempts allowed, not to mention a helpful interception. The Colts’ offense has been on fire scoring-wise during this four-game win streak; they’ve hit 31 or more points in every one of those outings.
As for Pittsburgh, they went a dismal 1-of-10 on third downs in their loss to the Pack over the weekend, but still had a lead heading into the final quarter. The defense ended up surrendering 454 total yards, 360 pass yards and 22 first downs but it was a team-wide defeat. That makes consecutive close losses for the Steelers in the last two games. I like this one to be a close fight as well, but I’ll take Indy on a slim cover.
