The Miami Dolphins and the San Francisco 49ers meet Sunday in NFL action from Levi’s Stadium. Miami is 8-3 on the year so far. The Dolphins beat the Texans in their last game. As for San Francisco, they’re 7-4 on the season and coming off a win over New Orleans. Check back all season long for free NFL picks at Sports Chat Place.

Miami kicked off their year with wins over the Patriots, Ravens and Bills, then lost to the Bengals, Jets and Vikings. The Dolphins have since won five straight outings, beating the Steelers, Lions, Bears, Browns and Texans.

In Sunday’s matchup versus Houston, Miami jumped out to a 30-0 lead by halftime. The Dolphins didn’t score in the second half but finished with a 30-15 win. QB Too Tagovailoa led the team on 229 yards and one TD. Tyreek Hill had 85 yards on six grabs.

Over on the San Francisco side, they were 3-2 over their first five games with wins over the Seahawks, Rams and Panthers. San Francisco has gone 4-2 over their last six, taking out the Rams, Chargers, Cardinals and Saints.

In the Saints matchup, the 49ers went into the locker room with a 10-0 edge. San Francisco scored three points in the second half in a 13-0 shutout. Jimmy Garoppolo posted 222 yards with a TD. Brandon Aiyuk caught five balls for 65 yards.

The Dolphins are 5-0 ATS in their last five in Week 13 and 7-2 ATS in their last nine in December. Miami is 23-11 ATS in their last 34 after an ATS win.

Meanwhile, the 49ers are 7-2 ATS in their last nine at home and 6-2 ATS versus a team with a winning record. San Francisco is 16-7 ATS in their last 23 overall.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Miami. The Dolphins are on a nice run right now, and they took care of a bad Texans team in their last outing. Miami posted 339 yards (66 rushing) in that one with 25 first downs and just four penalties. The Dolphins have hit 30 or more points in four straight games.

As for San Francisco, they had a nice defensive outing in the win over the Saints, even if the game was a little boring. The 49ers allowed 260 yards and 14 first downs in the shutout win. San Francisco may still win this one, but I like Miami to at least get close.
