In this article we will formulate a Tennessee Titans vs San Francisco 49ers prediction for this NFL Preseason game on Saturday August 10th at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. . Let’s take a look at the prediction for this preseason battle.

49ers to Rest Most Starters

All eyes and talk surrounding the 49ers has been about Brandon Aiyuk and the trade that might be coming (as of Tuesday no trade had been completed) but they still have to get ready for a preseason game. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan announced that most staters would be rested, and Brock Purdy said he’s unclear if that includes him. It’s hard to imagine, though, that he’s going to go in this game. Joshua Dobbs, Brandon Allen, and Tanner Mordecai are all listed behind Pudy on the depth chart, and all three of them could end up seeing the field in this game. Some of the younger wide receivers are also going to get a lot of eyes on them, especially if the team does decide to ship off Aiyuk.

Titans Look a Lot Different

The Titans look a lot different from last year’s team, and this game looks like it could be a bit of a rebuild, but this is a team that believes they can surprise someone. Although it might not be getting talked about a lot, Will Levis has been impressive during training camp. Behind him on the depth chart is Mason Rudolph and Malik Willis. The running back room also looks a lot different with Derrick Henry moved onto the Baltimore Ravens. Tony Pallard and Tyjae Speers are on top of the depth chart at running back, and that could be a battle although into the season to see who is going to end up taking more snaps this season. In this game, the Titans defense is going to need to make life tough on the 49ers offense.

Tennessee Titans vs San Francisco 49ers Prediction

The 49ers have already said they are resting their starters, but I am not sure if that is going to be the case in the Titans, who need to get some of these young guys some playing time. I also do trust the Titan’s quarterback position more. Mason Rudolph is a quality backup, and he’s going to have a huge game here. During the regular season it would be the 49ers, but this is the preseason, the Titans are going to get the job done. Back the Titans against the spread.
