The Edmonton Oilers and the Winnipeg Jets meet in NHL action from Bell MTS Place on Tuesday night.

The Edmonton Oilers will look to build off of a 4-3 win over the Jets in their last matchup. Connor McDavid leads the Oilers in scoring with 4 goals and 6 assists for his 10 points while Leon Draisaitl is right behind with 9 points coming on 3 goals and 6 assists. Edmonton is 4-9 in their last 13 games overall and 0-6 in their last 6 games following a win while the over is 4-1-2 in their last 7 games as a road favorite. Winnipeg is 8-3 in their last 11 home games and 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 Tuesday games. Edmonton is 3-7 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams.

I get the case you could make for either side, but I’m still going to side with Winnipeg here. The Jets have been the more consistent team out of the gate and while Winnipeg did stumble against Edmonton last time out, I still think the Jets just have more depth and can get the job done over a top-heavy Edmoton side in terms of goal and point distribution so I’ll back the Jets in this one.
