The Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres meet Thursday in NHL action at the KeyBank Center.

The Buffalo Sabres need a win here to snap a brutal 12-game losing streak. The Buffalo Sabres are averaging 2.1 goals per game and are scoring on 26.8 percent of their power play opportunities. The under is 8-0-1 in Bruins last 9 overall. The over is 5-2-1 in Sabres last 8 overall. The Bruins are 10-1 in the last 11 meetings in Buffalo and 19-7 in the last 26 meetings.
I'm not running to the window to back the Boston Bruins with the way they've looked the last week and a half, but backing the Buffalo Sabres isn't an option at all. The Sabres haven't won a game since February 23 and they've won just twice since January 31. There's no team that's burned a bigger hole in the pocket than the Sabres this season, and it really isn't even close. Keep fading the Sabres until they start to look like an NHL club. Give me the Bruins and the PL.
