We’ll open tonight’s action in the NHL with the Kings vs Avalanche Player Prop Bets for Friday, January 26. The Colorado Avalanche are welcoming the Los Angeles Kings, looking for the 11th win in 14 games, while the visitors are desperate to avoid the 13th defeat in 15 games.

Kings vs Avalanche Player Prop Bets – Nathan MacKinnon Over 1.5 Points (+105)

Nathan MacKinnon is just a point shy of Nikita Kucherov at the top of the point standings. At the moment, Colorado’s center has 82 and he leads the NFL in assists with 52. MacKinnon is also among the top five players in scoring with 30 goals, and I am backing him to move up after the game against the Kings.

In seven of the previous 12 games, MacKinnon registered 2+ points, and was pretty impressive in the last two, combining for even nine points! Six of those nine points were goals, which means Nathan is on a three-game scoring streak now.

In two H2Hs with Los Angeles this year, MacKinnon recorded four points (1G, 3A). The Avs are one of the best teams in the NHL and have the league’s highest-scoring offense (3.81 gpg). The Kings have a solid defense, allowing 2.58 goals per contest, but that D conceded 4+ goals in three of the past five games.

Colorado scores goals for fun right now, and I am sure MacKinnon will lead his team once again in points in another impressive display.

Cale Makar Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-136)

Cale Makar is on a solid run of five games in which he recorded at least a point. During that stretch, Makar registered nine points and had 14 shots. Over the last 20 games, Makar failed to attempt 3+ shots in just six. In the previous H2H against the Kings, he had five shots and two points.

Makar is the second-best defenseman when it comes to offensive contribution at the moment, right behind Vancouver’s Quinn Hughes. He collected 57 points, the third-best on the Avalanche, and he averages nearly 25 minutes per game.

Cale averages just below 3.0 shots per game, and given how the Avalanche are playing lately, and the fact the team has the best offense in the NFL, I am backing Makar to get at least three shots in this one. You can combine these Kings vs Avalanche Player Prop Bets and use them in a parlay.
