We conclude today’s NHL action with the Sabres vs Kings Player Prop Bets for Wednesday, January 24. The Buffalo Sabres travel to California after losing the previous two games, while the Los Angeles Kings are desperate to avoid the sixth home loss in seven games.

Sabres vs Kings Player Prop Bets – Trevor Moore Over 3.5 Shots on Goal (+110)

The King suffered a shootout home loss in the last game against the San Jose Sharks, but Trevor Moore surely delivered. I backed him to have over 3.5 shots on goal and he matched his season-high with eight attempts!

I have to back him once again, especially considering Moore’s recent form. Moore registered 4+ shots in six of the last seven games and didn’t spend below 18:34 TOI in that stretch. That’s improvement in TOI for Moore as he averages 17:56 TOI for the season.

With 21 goals, Moore is the Kings’ top scorer. He also has a team-high 146 shots, which is 3.31 per game on average. Trevor has been quite active on offense recently, and I am positive he will register another 4+ shot display for the fourth time in a row. The odds are nice as well.

Rasmus Dahlin Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-120)

Another SOG pick found its place in our Sabres vs Kings Player Prop Bets piece. This time we move on from the Kings’ players and go with something I don’t do often – backing defensemen to go over. Rasmus Dahlin is just behind Casey Mittelstadt at the top of the point chart for the Sabres.

The Swedish defender has 38 points thus far and is averaging by far the most time on ice on the team with 25:00 TOI. In the last two games, Dahling logged over 55 minutes on ice, but what’s more important, he combined for seven shots in those games.

Rasmus failed to attempt a shot on goal just twice this season and has 13 shots over the previous three showings. One of the most offensively prolific defensemen in the NHL, Dahlin can be a real threat from the deep. Only Jeff Skinner (138) has more shots than Dahlin (136) on the Sabres.

Dahlin already averages 2.95 SOG, and I am pretty sure he will get a minimum of three goal attempts against the Kings on Wednesday. The Kings do have one of the strongest defenses in the league (allowing 2.52 goals per game), but they have been struggling lately.
