Carolina Hurricanes vs. Utah Mammoth Prediction
I’m on the Mammoth in this one. I get the case to be made for Carolina as they’re still fighting for home ice up until the Stanley Cup Finals. However, Utah is still fighting for positioning to face the winner of the Pacific division, as it’s been the lesser of the two divisions this year. Granted, no team that makes the playoffs is a pushover, but I’d rather face the Oilers or Ducks if I’m Utah as well compared to a ticked off Colorado team with home ice advantage through the playoffs. Give me Utah at home here.
