Carlos Alcaraz will meet Daniil Medvedev in the Semi-Finals of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships. The match will be played on Friday July 14th, 2023.

Top seeded Carlos Alcaraz has been in blazing form so far here at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships, and is only two wins away from claiming a maiden title here. It has been a metoric adjustment period for him on grass, as many though he would struggle, but he is playing like a seasoned veteran. He crushed Holger Rune 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 in a dominant performance, with his power hitting and deft touch proving too much for the Dane. In this sort of form he is favored here against Daniil Medvedev, and will be chomping at the bit to reach his first Wimbledon Final.

Third seeded Daniil Medvedev has also been having a strong Wimbledon campaign, although not quite as impressive as his opponent, Carlos Alcaraz. The Russian overcome a stern challenge from Christopher Eubanks in the Quarter-Finals, eventually outlasting the American 6-2 in the fifth set. Eubanks was serving incredibly well, going up 2 sets to 1 before Medvedev changed tactics and became more aggressive on the return. He is the underdog here against Alcaraz, and if his return is not on point he will likely be packing his bags to head home.

This should be an incredible match to watch, but it is difficult to see any other outcome than a win for Carlos Alcaraz. The world number one has been in ridiculously good form, using his serve and big forehand to end points quickly, and also showing that he is adept at the net. There is simply nothing that this kid can’t do, and unless Daniil Medvedev produces a stunner of a match, Alcaraz will reach his first ever Wimbledon Final here at the 2023 Championships.
