Frenchman Ugo Humbert will face Sebastian Korda of the United States in the Quarter-Finals of the 2021 Halle Open. The match is scheduled to be played on Friday June 18th, 2021 at approximately 9:10am EST.

This is set to be a very close and exciting match between two rising young stars of the ATP Tour. Both Sebastian Korda and Ugo Humbert are unseeded here at the 2021 Halle Open, but have played some fantastic tennis and are fully deserving to be here. Who will get the win and advance to the Semis here in Halle?

Sebastian Korda is currently ranked #50 on the ATP Tour and is a fast rising star of the sport. The son of former Australian Open champion Petr Korda, he had a string of outstanding performances so far this season, notably reaching the Final in Delray Beach, his first Masters-1000 Semis in Miami and claiming his Maiden ATP Tour title in Parma a few weeks ago. He is making his grass court debut at this level, but has all the tools to do well on this quicker surface with a huge serve and heavy groundstrokes. He has started strongly here at the 2021 Halle Open, defeating Roberto Bautista Agut and Kei Nishikori to reach this stage. While Humbert has the higher ranking, Korda should be considered the slight favorite to advance here.

I believe that three sets in the match is a very real possibility, and both men have an almost equal chance of winning here. All things considered, I am going to go with Sebastian Korda to get a tight win here. He has a bit more firepower than Ugo Humbert, and has been serving incredibly well this week. It wont be easy, but Korda will win and reach the Semi-Finals here at the 2021 Halle Open.
