Stefanos Tsitsipas will meet Richard Gasquet in the Round of 16 of the 2023 Stuttgart Open. The match will be played on Thursday June 15th, 2023 at 11:00am EST. 

Stefanos Tsitsipas is the top seed here at the 2023 Stuttgart Open and is ranked 5th in the world. The Greek star has had yet another solid season in 2023, with a 31-9 record. He recently reached the Quarter-Finals at Roland Garros, going down to Carlos Alcaraz. Grass is his least favorite surface but he does have the tools to succeed on it, and should be considered the massive favorite here against Richard Gasquet. 

Richard Gasquet is unseeded here at the 2023 Stuttgart Open and is ranked 55th on the ATP Tour. The Frenchman has had a stellar career which is winding down, but he is still capable of some great tennis from time to time. He defeated Chris Eubanks 7-6, 6-4 to reach this stage, but will have to step up another level or two if he is to extend his stay in this tournament. 

This should be a fun match to watch, but it is hard to look past Stefanos Tsitsipas here. The odds are quite good on the outright given their difference in ranking, but I am very confident in the straight sets market as well. Richard Gasquet is far from the player he once was, but is a good grass court player and won’t make this easy.
