Taylor Fritz will meet Grigor Dimitrov in the Semi-Finals at the 2023 Geneva Open. The match will be played on Friday May 26th, 2023.

Taylor Fritz is ranked 9th in the world and is the second seed here at the 2023 Geneva Open. The American is having his best season on clay this year, with this being his third Semi-Final. He crushed Ilya Ivashka 6-1, 6-2 in a masterful performance, dominating his opponent with his serve and forehand, hitting winners at will. At 29-10 on the season he is on a high heading into Roland Garros and will be aiming to win the title here, his chances being boosted by the loss of defending champion Casper Ruud.

Grigor Dimitrov is the fourth seed here at the 2023 Geneva Open and is ranked 33rd in the world. The former top 5 player has struggled on clay this season, with this being the first time he has won two consecutive matches on the surface. Unlike his opponent Taylor Fritz, he did not have an easy path to the Semis, being pushed to the limit in the Quarter-Finals by Christoper O'Connell. He used every ounce of his experience to pull through, winning 6-7, 7-5, 6-4, and he knows that he will have to be much better to overcome Fritz to reach his first Final in five years.

While this will be an entertaining match, it is hard to see Taylor Fritz losing. He isn't known for his clay court ability but he has shown serious improvement recently, and is now a force to be reckoned with. Grigor Dimitrov can never be taken lightly on any surface, but he will go down to the American here, who will book his spot in the Final at the 2023 Geneva Open.
