Which of these two very in form players will come out on top and make their way to the quarter finals at Wimbledon? Will it be the up and coming Paula Badosa or the experienced but less successful as of recent Karolina Muchova?

Paula Badosa showed some great composure during the third round against Magda Linette, beating the Pole by coming back from a set down to win in 3 5-7/6-2/6-4. Paula Badosa has been in strong form recently, being able to reach the second week both at Roland Garros and now here at Wimbledon. Paula has a very powerful game and she knows that on grass she can find even more success because winners are more common than on clay. Paula Badosa will want to continue playing with this strong form, but she will know she will have a tight encounter in the fourth round.

Karolina Muchova was able to get a big win under her belt in the third round, beating the Roland Garros runner up, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in easy 2 set fashion 7-5/6-3. Karolina Muchova knows how to win against big name players when they are not at their best, but she has not been able to back this success up. Karolina will know she has a strong chance to go far here at Wimbledon from the confidence gained from that match, but she will know that she has a tough match now that she meets Paula Badosa.

This is going to be the 1^st meeting between both players, and I see a very tight match on the cards. Both of them will come out here ready to give it their all and show us how strong they are. However, I am leaning towards Paula Badosa getting the win under her belt because she has had much more consistency as of recent. Muchova is good, but she has lots of ups and downs rather than being consistent. Paula Badosa will know that and she will use her powerful game to try and get an early lead to give herself the momentum in the match.
