Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings
July 16, 2022 8:00 pm EDT

The Dallas Wings and Chicago Sky face off on Saturday in a WNBA showdown at College Park Center. When these two teams faced off on April 25th it was the Wings that secured the 92-77 victory.

Dallas Wings come into this game with an 11-13 record overall, and they have won two of their last three games. In the last game against the Minnesota Lynx, they got out to a fast start and held on late, to secure the 92-87 victory. The Wings are averaging 81.6 points, while their defense is giving up 82 points per game. The offense is ranked 6th in the league, while their defense is ranked 6th in the league. Arike Ogunbowale has been the top player for the Wings are averaging 19.7 points while shooting 40.5 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Chicago Sky, who sits with an 18-6 record overall, and they are coming off another strong win in the last game. The offense put up 80 points against the Los Angeles Sparks, and that led to the 12-point victory. The Sky are averaging 85.8 points, while their defense is giving up 79.4 points per game. The Sky’s offense is ranked second in the league, while their defense is ranked second in the league. Kahleah Copper has been the top player for Chicago, averaging 14.2 points while shooting 46.4 percent from the field.

The Wings are coming off a big win, but I don’t think they are going to find a lot of success in this game. The Wings defense is the worst defense in this game, and the Sky are going to find success here. The Sky’s offense is going to run up the score and the Wings will have no issue.
