The Minnesota Lynx and Dallas Wings meet Friday in WNBA action at the College Park Center. Here’s a Wings vs Lynx Prediction. This article will include a Wings vs Lynx Pick.

Minnesota Lynx Betting Preview

The Lynx won 30 games last season and lost in the WNBA Finals. Cheryl Reeve enters her 16th season and has a 64.7 percent winning percentage for her career. You can argue the Lynx are the team to beat as they return all five starters from a finals team and are led by an MVP candidate in Napheesa Collier. Kayla McBride is coming off her best season yet, and Courtney Williams showed she can take over when needed.

There’s no question with the starting five, but it’s the depth that will determine if the Lynx can get back to the mountain top. Players like Diamond Miller or Alissa Pili will be key and should see an expanded role. The Lynx are experienced, talented, and now have a chip on their shoulder with how the finals played out. The Lynx have scary potential.

Dallas Wings Betting Preview

The Wings won nine games last season and begin the Chris Koclanes era. Koclanes is a head coach for the first time at the college or professional ranks. The obvious focus on the Wings is rookie Paige Bueckers, who was a star at UCONN and has superstar potential in the likes of Caitlin Clark. You pair her with four-time all-star Arike Ogunbowale, and the Wings have probably the most talented backcourt in the WNBA when both are cooking.

DiJonai Carrington comes over from the Sun and NaLyssa Smith comes from the Fever, two players who are coming off productive seasons. There’s legit potential for the Wings to go from nine wins to a playoff series winner. The problem is the Wings have an inexperienced coaching staff, and Bueckers is sure to go through growing pains. Still, the Wings will be a team to watch.

Wings vs Lynx Injury Report

The Wings will be without Luisa Geiselsoder, while Tyasha Harris is probable despite a knee injury.

The Lynx will be without Kayla McBride, while Alanna Smith is doubtful.

Wings vs Lynx Prediction

This will be a fun game as the College Park Center will be rocking with Bueckers making her debut and the potential this team comes with. The Lynx will be without McBride, which does hurt and makes the Lynx somewhat vulnerable. However, there’s a gap in talent and experience in coaching staffs.

The Lynx felt they were robbed in the finals, and they should come out angry with a statement to prove while getting off to a strong start. If the Lynx are serious about getting back to where they were, they must start the season off strong and win games they’re supposed to win. Even without McBride, the Lynx have enough to get the job done with the small number. Give me the Lynx.
