The Memphis Grizzlies and the Sacramento Kings collide at the Golden 1 Center on Monday night.
The Memphis Grizzlies look to have cooled off from their 11-game win streak as they are now hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after falling just short to the Suns in a 112-110 road loss last night. Ja Morant led the team with 27 points and eight assists, Desmond Bane added 24 points with eight rebounds and six assists while Ziaire Williams chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 43 percent from the field and 11 of 32 from the 3-point line as they really struggled to find their groove and managed just 37 points in the first half to fall behind by as many as 29 points which proved to be just enough in the end as the Grizzlies saw their rally cut short by the clock in the end.
Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings will be eager to bounce back in this one after having their six-game win streak snapped by the 76ers in a 129-127 loss on Saturday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 31 points and nine assists on 11 of 19 shooting, Harrison Barnes added 27 points while Kevin Huerter chipped in with 20 points on eight of 12 shooting. As a team, the Kings shot 54 percent from the field and 13 of 33 from the 3-point line as they poured in 74 points in the first half to lead by as many as 21 points, before they let all their hard work go to waste in the third quarter where they got outscored by 38-21 to allow the 76ers to snatch the game from them in the end.

It’s always tough to play on zero days rest, but the Grizzlies have already beaten the Kings in two of three meetings this season and I think they beat them again.
