NY Yankees vs Cincinnati Reds Prediction
I might take a stab on the Reds here. At least some of that is due to Rodon’s recent struggles. Over his last three starts, Rodon is 0-3 with 20 earned runs over 13.2 innings of work on 28 hits and six walks. As for Abbott, he’s given up seven earned in 15.2 innings over his last trio of outings.
On Tuesday, the Reds jumped out to an early lead and held on, making the most of five team hits. Both Elly De La Cruz and Will Benson had homers with two RBI apiece, but there wasn’t much else going on offensively. Cincinnati may have a better chance against Rodon in game two.
