This might be a spot to take Chicago on a value play. I’m probably not messing with it, though. Flexen is coming off a loss to Baltimore with three earned in 3.1 innings. In his two starts prior to that however, Flexen wasn’t too bad with five earned in 12.1 total frames. As for Bello, he’s given up nine earned in 10.1 innings during two of his last three games (zero in 8.0 frames in the other).

On Saturday the White Sox had a couple of very nice offensive innings but couldn’t overcome their early struggles on the mound. Chicago was down 7-2 by the fifth and used six pitchers total. It’s a long shot thinking they can stop the sweep Sunday, but I suppose it’s possible.
