Chicago White Sox Betting Preview

The Chicago White Sox are 37-120 this year and they have lost five of their last six games. Chicago won game one in this series by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday night. Prior to this series, the White Sox lost all three against the Padres, lost two out of three against the Angels, and won two out of three against the Athletics. LA Angels Betting Preview

The Los Angeles Angels are 63-94 this season and they have lost four of their last five games. Los Angeles lost the first game in this series, as they were unable to hang onto a late lead. Prior to this series, the Angels lost three out of four against the Astros, won two out of three against the White Sox, and lost all three against the Astros. Los Angeles is 3-10 in their last 13 games and they are last in the AL West.

The projected starting pitcher for Chicago is Davis Martin, who is 0-5 with a 4.27 ERA and a 1.40 WHIP over 46.1 innings pitched this year. Martin has allowed at least three earned runs in three of his last four starts. The projected starting pitcher for LA is Jose Suarez, who is 1-2 with a 6.08 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP over 47.1 innings pitched this season. Why the Angels will beat the White Sox

  • The White Sox have lost each of their last 10 Wednesday games against American League opponents that held a losing record.
  • The Angels have won each of their last four games at Guaranteed Rate Field following a loss.
  • The White Sox have failed to cover the run line in nine of their last 10 night games against American League opponents following a win.
  • The Angels have covered the run line in four of their last five games as favorites against AL Central opponents following a road loss.

Total Runs Facts

  • Six of the White Sox’s last seven home games against AL West opponents have gone UNDER the total runs line.
  • Five of the Angels’ last six road games after playing the previous day have gone OVER the total runs line.
  • The ‘Inning 1 UNDER 0.5 runs’ market has hit in each of the White Sox’s last six games.
  • The ‘Inning 1 UNDER 0.5 runs’ market has hit in each of the Angels’ last five games as road favorites against AL Central opponents.

Chicago White Sox vs LA Angels Prediction

Chicago was able to pick up the win in game one of this series, as they try to avoid being the first team with 121 losses in a season. The White Sox are 21-58 at home this year, while the Angels are 31-48 on the road. Both of these teams have really struggled over the last few weeks, but Suarez has pitched well in his last three outings. I don’t love this game, but I am always willing to fade the White Sox at a decent price. Take the Angels here.
