Ravens vs Jaguars Prediction

Jacksonville comes into this game after winning four of their last five games and they are a big favorite to win, but they will be on the road here. The Jaguars have allowed 17 points or fewer in four of their last five games and they have scored 31+ points in three of those five. Baltimore has lost three games in a row and they have been outscored 71-23 in their last two. The Ravens will be using their third string quarterback and they have scored 13 points or fewer in three straight games. This is a ton of points to cover on the road, but I can’t back Baltimore with everything they are dealing with. Take Jacksonville to cover here.

Baltimore Ravens Betting Preview

The Baltimore Ravens are 4-4 this season after they lost to the Bills by a score of 36-10 last week. Baltimore trailed 16-7 at halftime and they allowed 20 points in the second half in the ugly loss. The Ravens were out gained by a total of 426-144, went 3-13 on third downs, and lost the turnover battle by a total of 3-2 in the game. Joe Fagnano threw for 91 yards and one interception, while Rashod Bateman caught one pass for 22 yards. Derrick Henry rushed 11 times for 53 yards and one score in the loss.

Prior to that game, Baltimore lost to the Bengals by a score of 35-13 and the Browns by a score of 13-10. The Ravens have scored 22.4 points per game with 205.1 passing yards and 133.5 rushing yards per game, while they have allowed 25.4 points against per game this season. Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley are injured, so we will see Joe Fagnano under center once again. Zay Flowers has caught 40 passes for 608 yards and three scores, while Derrick Henry has rushed 158 times for 632 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars Betting Preview

The Jacksonville Jaguars are 5-2 this year after they defeated the Colts by a score of 42-7 in their last game. Jacksonville led 28-0 at halftime and they cruised to the blowout win in the second half. The Jaguars out gained Indianapolis by a total of 366-243, went 6-12 on third downs, and won the turnover battle by a total of 3-1 in the game. Trevor Lawrence threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns, while Bhayshul Tuten caught two passes for 55 yards and one score. Tuten also rushed 16 times for 104 yards and one touchdown in the win.

Prior to that game, Jacksonville lost to the Texans by a score of 34-31, but did defeat the Eagles by a score of 19-17 before that. The Jaguars have scored 28.0 points per game with 227.4 passing yards and 122.9 rushing yards per game, while they have allowed 15.9 points against per game this season. Trevor Lawrence has thrown for 1,690 yards with 17 touchdowns and four interceptions, while Parker Washington has 27 receptions for 432 yards and four scores. Positive Trends

When looking at the trends in this game, I am comfortable backing the Jaguars. Jacksonville tends to start fast when playing on the East Coast, which will be critical in controlling the game. Baltimore has a few trends pointing in their favor, but the third string quarterback really nullifies most of those. Take the Jaguars on the road here.
