San Antonio Spurs Betting Preview

The San Antonio Spurs have been on a tear as they are now riding a six-game win streak after sneaking past the Mavericks in a thrilling 112-111 home win on Wednesday. Victor Wembenyama led the team with a career-high 52 points with 24 rebounds and eight blocks, Dylan Harper added 21 points on nine of 15 shooting while Stephon Castle tallied 17 points with 10 rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Spurs shot just 39 percent from the field and just five of 36 from the 3-point line as they caught fire with 68 points in the first half to lead by as many as 19 points in this one, but they allowed the Mavericks back into the contest and it looked like it was going to cost them until the Spurs’ Wembenyama drained the game-winning free throw with 24.2 seconds left on the clock.

Sacramento Kings Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been dreadful so far this season as they’ve lost seven of their first eight games and they will be hoping for a better effort after getting routed by the Lakers in a 116-103 home defeat on Wednesday. Darius Acuff Jr led the team with 22 points and 12 assists, Zach LaVine added 21 points, Domantas Sabonis tallied 16 points with 17 rebounds while De’Andre Hunter chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Kings shot just 39 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line which was still good enough to hang within striking distance of the Lakers, until the third quarter where the Kings scored just 20 points to fall behind by as many as 18 points. Malik Monk shot just five of 16 from the field while Acuff Jr shot just eight of 24 from the field with four turnovers.

San Antonio v Sacramento Free Prediction

The Spurs will again be without the injured Tobias Harris, while the Kings have ruled out Ben Simmons, Keegan Murray and Maxime Raynaud.
These teams last met on Oct 27 and it was the Spurs who rolled to a 130-103 home win thanks to 29 points from Wembenyama. The Spurs have been on fire with six wins in a row and they are relatively healthy compared to the slumping Kings. The line was always going to be massive for this matchup, but the Spurs are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games and I think the Spurs will get off to another quick start like they did last time to set up a comfortable win in this spot.
