Boise State vs Oregon State Prediction

I’ll lean toward Boise State. The Broncos rattled off another win last weekend, this time by 26 points over Colorado State. Boise State gathered up 669 total yards in that one with 352 rush yards, 28 first downs and a stellar 5-of-7 success rate on third-down conversions. The Broncos did give up quite a bit yardage-wise (513) on defense but did pretty well on third downs themselves (4-of-13). Boise State is cooking right now on eight straight wins and they’ve got a prime opportunity to run the table out with two upcoming home games.

As for Oregon State, they got doubled up by Texas State in a 42-21 loss last weekend. The Beavers offense had a couple of turnovers while gaining 347 yards, 22 first downs and a 5-of-12 success rate on third downs. Oregon State’s defense gave up a whopping 600 yards, 386 rushing yards, 26 first downs and 10-of-15 on third-down tries. They couldn’t get off the field. That makes consecutive losses for the Beavers, and they’ve given up a combined 80 points in those two outings. This matchup isn’t going to get any easier.
