I’ll probably just go with South Alabama. There’s not a ton to get excited about here, but it should be a reasonably competitive matchup. The Jaguars posted 453 yards (292 passing) and 24 first downs in their latest loss to Arkansas State but also shot themselves in the foot with 11 penalties for 100 yards. It probably should have been a victory, all things considered.
As for Troy, they generated three takeaways versus Texas State in their last outing but also gave up 467 total yards (215 rushing) and 26 first downs. South Alabama’s offense should have some opportunities here if they can get the run game going.
