Draftkings Pick6
May 16, 2024 8:00 pm EDT
The MLB season continues on Thursday at 6:40 PM ET with 5 games and there is value all across the board with the MLB Player Props Draftkings Pick6.
Before we look at who should be in your Pick6 lineup, let’s go over a reminder about how the contest works.
The goal for participants is to make more correct picks than the other participants in each contest. Winning entries receive a share of the available prizes. In Pick6, participants can build lineups of between 2 and 6 players and compete against participants with the same lineup size. The more picks you include in a lineup, the higher a payout could be.
Justin Steele Under 17.5 Outs
Chicago Cubs pitcher Justin Steele hasn’t been great this season and it’s not going to be any different in this game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. In the last game against the Pittsburgh Pirates he went four innings giving up six hits and six runs. Two starts ago against the San Diego Padres he went 4.2 innings giving up three hits and zero runs. The Cubs haven’t been letting him go deep in games and it’s going to be no different here. Steele won’t make it out of the 5th inning.
Bryce Harper over 0.5 Singles
Bryce Harper has finished with at least one hit for the Philadelphia Phillies in each of the last three games and he’s going to continue that success here. Getting the start for the New York Mets will be Jose Quintana who sits with a 1-4 record and an ERA of 5.44. In his last start against the Atlanta Braves, Quintana went five innings giving up six hits and four earned runs. Harper is going to get a couple of hits off of him.
Taijuan Walker under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed
Taijuan Walker had a strong start in his last start for the Philadelphia Phillies and he’s going to continue that success here. In his last start against the Miami Marlins he went six innings giving up eight hits and one run. The Mets offense is going to really struggle here, and that is going to be the difference here as Walker is going to finish with under 2.5 earned runs.
Cristian Javier under 5.5 Strikeouts
Houston Astros pitcher Cristian Javier is going to finish under 5.5 strikeouts here. In each of his last four games he has had four strikeouts or less. In his last game against the Detroit Tigers he went 1.1 innings giving up five hits and seven earned runs. He failed to record a strikeout. Javier is going to struggle again here, and he will finish under the 5.5 strikeout mark here.
