The Line: Detroit Tigers -144 / Baltimore Orioles +134 --- Over/Under: 8.5 See the Latest Odds

The Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers will play game two Saturday afternoon of a three-game series.  The Tigers beat the Orioles 10-4 on Friday.

The Orioles drop to 1-3 this season, as pitcher Miguel Gonzalez allowed nine hits and seven earned runs in just 3.1 innings. Pitcher Bud Norris hopes to fair a lot better in his first start of the season after finishing last year with a 6-9 record and 4.18 ERA for the Houston Astros. Norris is 0-1 in just two career starts against the Tigers. Norris is also a pitcher who has been brutal on the road in his career, as he’s 15-30 away from home with a 5.23 ERA.

The Tigers batting lineup came to live, as they cranked out 17 hits and received homeruns from Torii Hunter and Miguel Cabrera. Drew Smyly picked up the win after giving the Tigers three scoreless innings out of the bullpen. Rick Porcello will start his first game of the season and it’ll be his 150th start of his career. Porcello finished last year with a 13-8 record and an ERA of 4.32. Porcello has improved each season he’s been in the league and finished 6-3 with an ERA of 4.33 at home last year.

The Orioles are 0-5 in their last 5 road games and 7-2 in Norris' last 9 starts. The Tigers are 6-1 in Porcellos last 7 home starts and 0-7 in Porcellos last 7 starts vs. American League East. The Orioles are 6-2 in the last 8 meetings, while the Tigers are 1-5 in Porcellos last 6 starts vs. Orioles.

With the way the Tigers opened up the floodgates offensively on Friday, it's hard to pick against them heading into the weekend. Porcello was solid at home all of last season, and the Orioles don't have enough offensive firepower to keep up if the Tigers have another big offensive day.

Get the Tigers chep whil you still can.
