The Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics will play Sunday afternoon to decide the series between the two teams. The Mariners tied the series up with a 3-1 victory on Saturday.
The Mariners improve to 4-1 on the season and have been getting terrific pitching right out of the gate. Seattle has allowed no more than three runs in the first five games. Erasmo Ramirez hopes to keep the train running for the Mariners, as he makes his second start of the season. Ramirez picked up the victory in his first start, allowing just two runs and six hits in seven innings. This will be the fourth career start for Ramirez against the A’s, as he’s 0-2 with a 3.78 ERA.

Although the Athletics have fallen to 2-3 on the season, the A’s have also received great pitching, allowing no more than three runs in four of their first five games. Sonny Gray hopes to match his first start in which he allowed just five hits and no runs in six innings. Gray is a young, promising 24-year-old pitcher with a career ERA of 2.44. This will be just Gray’s 12th career start, but two of them have been against the Mariners. Gray won one of those starts and has an overall ERA of 1.50.
The Mariners are 1-5 in Ramirezs last 6 starts and 4-1 in their last 5 during game 3 of a series. The Athletics are 4-1 in Milones last 5 starts during game 3 of a series and 4-1 in Milones last 5 home starts. The Athletics are 5-2 in Milones last 7 starts vs. Mariners.
I like the A's at this value. Oakland is at home and has the better pitcher in Gray. Gray has been money at home in his last four starts and is a promising pitcher with a bright future. With the Mariners struggling to score, give me Gray at home.
