Over on the Braves’ side, they had a 4-3 lead at one point in the Monday game but gave it up over the next inning. Marcell Ozuna had a nice game with two solo homers, though. ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll stick with the Braves in this one. The line’s a little too thick to mess with, though. Morton should be able to put up a nice start here, as he’s pitching well right now. In his last pair Morton is 2-0 with zero earned in 11.0 innings on seven hits and eight walks. As for Quintana, he’s just 1-2 in his last three but he’s done well also on five runs in 18.0 frames combined. On Tuesday Atlanta had five players go hitless but the rest of the team picked up the slack. The Braves have scored three or more runs in each of the last five games and I don’t see the offense stopping in game three.
