Over on the Red Sox’ side, they won two of three over the Los Angeles Angels in their weekend series before the two losses to the Guardians on Monday and Tuesday. I’ll probably stay with the Guardians. Carrasco hasn’t done too badly over his first three starts this year. That said, he hasn’t gone past 4.2 innings in consecutive games and is also searching for his first win. Carrasco has given up two earned in his last 7.2 combined frames on six hits and eight walks.

On Wednesday the Guardians couldn’t figure out Houck in a great pitching performance. Cleveland is going to have to recover offensively—plus see a solid outing from Carrasco—but I think they’ve got a shot in the finale.
