The Kansas City Royals are 36-26 this year and they have lost four of their last five games. Kansas City dropped game one in this series and blew a 5-0 lead in the loss. Prior to this series, the Royals lost two out of three against the Padres, lost three out of four against the Twins, and won two out of three against the Rays. Kansas City is just 2-7 in their last nine games and they are second in the AL Central.

Kansas City is eighth in team ERA this season, but they have allowed seven runs or more in four of their last five games.

The projected starting pitcher for Kansas City is Brady Singer, who is 4-2 with a 2.63 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP over 61.2 innings pitched this year. Singer has allowed one earned run in four of his last five starts, but did allow four earned runs and nine hits against Seattle three starts ago. The projected starting pitcher for Cleveland Tanner Bibee, who is 4-1 with a 3.74 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP over 65.0 innings pitched this season. Cleveland Guardians vs Kansas City Royals Prediction

Cleveland rolls into this game 20 games above .500 and they have a pretty healthy lead in the AL Central. The Guardians have been dominant at home this season and they are going for another series win here. Kansas City has had a very successful season, but they are in a rough patch and could really use a good start. The Royals will turn to Brady Singer, who has been very dependable this season, but hasn’t pitched since May 25th. Cleveland is going with Tanner Bibee, who has been up and down so far this year. I know Kansas City is struggling, but I really like how Singer has looked and my Cleveland Guardians vs Kansas City Royals prediction is for the Royals to get the win.
