The San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies meet Tuesday in MLB action from Coors Field. San Francisco is coming off a weekend series versus the Orioles, losing two of the three games. San Francisco Giants

The Giants managed to beat the Orioles 4-0 in the Saturday game, but otherwise lost 3-2 Friday and 8-3 on Sunday. In the finale, Giants starter Anthony DeSclafani put up 3.0 innings with five earned on five hits and three walks.

The Giants will send out John Brebbia for the Tuesday start. this year Brebbia is 2-0 with a 3.80 ERA and 33 Ks. 

Colorado Rockies

Over on the Rockies’ side, they beat the Royals 7-2 Friday and 6-4 Saturday before a 2-0 loss in the finale. Colorado starter Kyle Freeland managed two earned on four hits and no walks in 7.0 innings during the defeat.

Dinelson Lamet will take the start for the Rockies on Tuesday. In his 13 games (one start) this year Lamet is 1-2 with a 13.17 ERA and 17 Ks in 13.2 innings. Lamet has a 4.43 ERA with a 17-22 record in 114 career games (57 starts).

ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’ll probably take a stab on the Rockies here, but I’m also probably staying away. Lamet came back to a rough outing back on May 31, giving up five earned on seven hits in 3.0 innings during a loss at Chase Field. Lamet is going to need to muster at least a few good frames in this one, but I think he’s capable against this lineup. Colorado has scored four or more runs in three of their last four games as well, so the bats will need to stay hot in order to get a Tuesday victory.
