As starting pitcher for the finale, the Yankees will send out Marcus Stroman. This year over his five starts Stroman is 2-1 with a 2.93 ERA and 28 Ks in 27.2 innings. Stroman is 79-77 with a 3.64 ERA in 236 career games (228 starts).
Milwaukee Brewers Betting Preview
Over on the Brewers’ side, they took on the Pittsburgh Pirates in their early-week series. Milwaukee also won two of four, taking victories 3-2 and 7-5 in the final pair. In the Saturday game two versus New York, the Brewers gave up four runs in both the sixth and ninth innings. Joe Ross left after 5.0 innings, six earned, eight hits and three walks.
It’ll be Tobias Myers in the starting pitcher slot for the Brewers on Sunday. This year Myers has just one start (the first of his career), taking a loss with one earned on four hits and one walk in 5.0 innings total.

I’ll stay with New York. The Brewers should have a few scoring opportunities against Stroman though, so this one may be close. Stroman has given up nine earned runs on 17 hits and seven walks combined over his last three starts, totaling 15.2 innings. As for Myers, it’ll be interesting to see what he can do in his second outing following the tough-luck loss to the Pirates on April 23.
On Saturday in game two, the Yankees had a stellar offensive outing. Alex Verdugo posted three hits, two runs, a homer and four RBI, while Gleyber Torres had three hits with three RBI. I like New York to keep rolling on Sunday.
