In this article, we will formulate an Orioles vs Yankees Prediction for this MLB game on Tuesday, April 29th, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.  Let’s take a look at a New York Yankees vs Baltimore Orioles pick.

Orioles Almost Blew It

The Orioles’ bullpen did everything in their power to blow the game late on Monday, but they held on for the victory. Ryan O’Hearn was the offensive star, hitting a home run and driving in three RBIs on the way to the victory. Gregory Soto came off the bench, and he went 1.1 innings, giving up three hits and two runs. After a solid start, they can’t have the bullpen struggling like that again.

The Orioles are averaging 4.0 runs while their pitching is giving up 5.44 runs per game. The offense is ranked 19th in the league while the pitching is ranked 28th. Cedric Mullins has hit six home runs and driven in 20 RBIs. Getting the start for the Orioles will be Kyle Gibson, who will be making his first start of the season. Last year with the St. Louis Cardinals, he finished with an 8-8 record and an ERA of 4.24.

What a Disappointing Game for the Yankees

It was quite a disappointing game for the Yankees on Monday, and even though they fought back, the offense wasn’t good enough early in the game, and that ended up coming back to bite them. Will Warren got the start, and he also wasn’t good enough, going 3.1 innings, giving up six hits and four runs. He had five strikeouts and two walks. The pitching overall has been strong, and over the last three games, they have given up only seven runs total.

The Yankees are averaging 5.54 runs while their pitching is giving up 4.04 runs per game. The offense is ranked 2nd while the pitching is ranked 11th. Aaron Judge has hit eight home runs and driven in 28 RBIs. Carlos Rodon is getting the start for the Yankees, and he sits with a 3-3 record and an ERA of 3.50. Against the Cleveland Guardians in his last start, he went seven innings, giving up four hits and one run.

Orioles vs Yankees Prediction

Please give me the Yankees here. The stats for Gibson were decent last year for the Cardinals, but I am still not really sold on him being the answer for this Orioles pitching staff. The Yankees’ pitching has been solid heading into this game, and Rodon is going to continue that here. In his last start, he gave up only one run in seven innings, and he will be just as good here. In this game, the Yankees will get out to a faster start, and New York will end up coming out on top.
