The Arizona Diamondbacks come into this one looking to get to the World Series for the first time since 2001 after forcing a game seven with their 5-1 win in game six on Monday. Ketel Marte went 2 for 5 with a triple and two RBIs while Tommy Pham and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. each had a solo home run. Evan Longoria added a double and an RBI to round out the scoring for the Diamondbacks in the winning effort. Gerardo Perdomo added a pair of base hits while Corbin Carroll, Gabriel Moreno and Alek Thomas each had a base hit as well to round out the offense for the Diamondbacks in the victory. I’m rolling with the Phillies here. The Phillies just have the edge of being in these high-pressure situations and while we saw the Rangers on Monday, an inexperienced team in game sevens pull off the win, I think there’s a difference between having Max Scherzer as a starter and Brandon Pfaadt, no offense. I’m not a huge Ranger Suarez fan but I think he’s the slightly better option here and I trust the Phillies lineup to bounce back here. Give me Philadelphia.
