Mariners vs Rays Prediction
I’m on the Rays in this one. I get the case to be made for either side in this game, and the Mariners looked really solid in that series sweep against the White Sox to start the week. However, Luis Castillo you could argue has been the weak link in this current version of the Mariners’ rotation and I think if there’s a starter that the Rays can get to in this series, it’s Castillo. Drew Rasmussen has been arguably Tampa Bay’s staff ace up to this point in the year, and the Rays still have some hopes of making a run, but they have to take advantage of winnable spots against good teams. I think this qualifies as one of those. Give me Tampa Bay here.
