St. Louis Cardinals vs Chicago Cubs Prediction

One thing to keep in mind with double headers is to check the starting pitchers the day of the matchup, as they have a tendency to change who is starting in which game. The Cardinals are playing very well over the last two months and they are above .500 at home, while the Cubs have not played well on the road. Chicago started the season playing decently well, but they have really fallen off since that point. In game one, I am going to fade Lance Lynn, especially after that last start. In game two, while I do like Assad, I think Gibson will give the Cardinals just enough to get the win. My St. Louis Cardinals vs Chicago Cubs prediction is for the Cubs to win game one and the Cardinals to win game two.
