The Denver Nuggets play host to the Golden State Warriors at the Ball Arena on Thursday night.

The Golden State Warriors have been in nice form lately as they’ve won six of their past nine games, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after having their two-game win streak halted by the shorthanded Pacers in a 104-95 home loss on Tuesday. Andrew Wiggins had the hot hand for the Warriors as he led the team with 22 points, seven rebounds and five blocks, Stephen Curry heated up after a slow start to finish with 20 points, Draymond Green had seven points with 10 assists, while Kelly Oubre Jr. chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Warriors shot just 38 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line which was enough to lead for most of the game, until the second half where they were outscored by 54-38. Despite the cold shooting, the Warriors were in control of the game until James Wiseman found foul trouble as it left them short at the center position which cost them in the end.

Meanwhile, the Denver Nuggets have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their last six games, but they will be aiming to bounce back after falling just short against the Nets in a 122-116 road loss on Tuesday. Nikola Jokic led the team with 23 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, Will Barton drained six 3-pointers on his way to 22 points while Jamal Murray chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Nuggets shot 50 percent from the field and a sizzling 18 of 37 from the 3-point line as they poured in 70 points in the first half to lead by as many as 18 points, only to get run down in the second half where they were outscored by 68-46 as they had no answer for the Nets who shot over 60 percent from the field.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games following a loss and 5-1 ATS in their last six road games against a team with a losing home record. The Nuggets are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings in Denver and the Warriors are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall.

The Warriors will be kicking themselves after dropping a winnable game against the shorthanded Pacers on Tuesday, but they were playing great basketball before that loss, so you’d expect them to bounce back sooner rather than later. The Nuggets are finally starting to find some form after a slow start to the season, but their defense looked terrible in their loss against the shorthanded Nets on Tuesday. The Warriors are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Warriors get back in the win column behind a big game from Curry.
