The Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers meet Thursday in NBA preseason action at the Staples Center.

The Utah Jazz look for another win to finish the preseason with a 3-0 record. The Utah Jazz are averaging 115 points on 46.5 percent shooting and allowing 98.5 points on 42.7 percent shooting. Mike Conley is averaging 16 points and three assists while Jordan Clarkson is averaging 15.5 points and 3.5 rebounds. Bojan Bogdanovic is the third double-digit scorer and Donovan Mitchell is grabbing four rebounds. The Utah Jazz are shooting 36.3 percent from beyond the arc and 80.9 percent from the free thitem line. The Utah Jazz are allowing 31.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 49.5 rebounds per game.

The Los Angeles Clippers need a win to prevent a 0-3 preseason record. The Los Angeles Clippers are averaging 93.5 points on 41.1 percent shooting and allowing 109 points on 46.1 percent shooting. Lou Williams is averaging 9.5 points and 0.5 rebounds while Paul George is averaging 9.4 points and 1.5 rebounds. Terance Mann is dishing three assists and Kawhi Leonard is grabbing four rebounds. The Los Angeles Clippers are shooting 29.6 percent from beyond the arc and 68.3 percent from the free thitem line. The Los Angeles Clippers are allowing 53.2 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 44.5 rebounds per game.

The Jazz are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Thursday games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Jazz are 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Los Angeles and 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.

The Utah Jazz have been old through two preseason games, but now they have to go on the road where the shooting doesn’t always travel with everybody. The Los Angeles Clippers are a much better team than what they showed in two games against the Lakers, and while it’s meaningless preseason, I’d think they’d want to end things with a victory to kind of lift the spirits after the way the bubble ended. A win never hurt anybody. I’ll lay the reasonable number with the Clippers.
