The Toronto Raptors and the Cleveland Cavaliers duke it out at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Sunday night.

The Toronto Raptors have been in a real slump as they’ve lost nine of their past 10 games and they will be hoping to snap a seven-game slide after falling just short to the Jazz in a 115-112 home loss on Friday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 27 points and nine assists, Norman Powell and Fred VanVleet each scored 17 points while Chris Boucher chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Raptors shot 48 percent from the field and 21 of 44 from the 3-point line but it still wasn’t enough to get past the Jazz who outrebounded them by 56-36 while outscoring them by 35-11 at the free throw line.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in a slump of their own as they’ve lost five of their last six games and they will be hoping to bounce back after falling short to the Spurs in a 116-110 home loss on Friday. Collin Sexton led the team with 29 points on 12 of 25 shooting, Darius Garland added 29 points with eight assists while Jarrett Allen and Lamar Stevens each scored 15 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 43 percent from the field and seven of 27 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the game to trail by as many as 22 points, before exploding for 44 points in the fourth quarter to keep the game interesting late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Raptors are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team below. 400. The Cavaliers are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a losing record, 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the Raptors are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Cleveland and the Raptors are 5-12-1 ATS in the last 18 meetings overall.

The Raptors have struggled to build momentum as they’ve really struggled with players out of the lineup lately, so they will be eager to snap out of their funk now that they’re just about back to full strength here. It’s a similar story for the Cavaliers who have lost five of their last six games, so it’s hard to split these two teams when looking at recent form. It’s tempting to take the Cavaliers with the handy start, but this just seems like a good spot for the Raptors to come to life with a long overdue win.
