The Memphis Grizzlies invade the Chase Center to battle the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.

The Memphis Grizzlies look to have cooled off from their 11-game win streak as they are now hoping to put a halt to a three-game skid after getting thrashed by the Kings in a 133-100 road loss on Monday. Desmond Bane led the team with 21 points and five assists, Jaren Jackson Jr added 19 points while Dillon Brooks chipped in with 13 points and six assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 40 percent from the field and 12 of 36 from the 3-point line, but they were switched on defensively and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing the Kings to explode for 47 points in the first quarter. The fourth quarter was particularly bad as the Grizzlies got outscored by an incredible 33-10 and you have to point some of the blame at the reserves as no bench player scored more than nine points.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in a slump as they’ve lost six of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after coming up short against the Nets in a tough 120-116 loss on Sunday. Stephen Curry led the team with 26 points and seven assists, Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points on nine of 15 shooting off the bench while Jordan Poole chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Warriors shot just 45 percent from the field and 13 of 32 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 72 points in the first half to lead by as many as 17 points, only to go cold and allow the Nets to steal the game in a wild finish. Klay Thompson had a night to forget as he shot just four of 17 from the field and zero of seven from the 3-point line while Andrew Wiggins scored just four points on two of nine shooting.

Looking at the betting trends, the Grizzlies are 8-17 ATS in their last 25 road games, 1-5 ATS in their last six games against a team with a losing record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall. The Warriors are 0-4 ATS in their last four home games and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games following a loss.

Head to head, the under is 12-5 in the last 17 meetings overall and the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Golden State.

The Grizzlies are again shorthanded as Steven Adams is expected to miss at least another 3-to-5 weeks, while the Warriors should have James Wiseman back in the lineup as his status has been upgraded to probable. The Grizzlies haven’t been at their best lately and they will be so disappointed with how they lost to the Kings on Monday, so I’m leaning towards the Warriors who have already beaten the Grizzlies earlier in the season. The Grizzlies are only 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Golden State and I think that trend continues here as the loss of Adams continues to hurt them.
