Two struggling teams collide as the Golden State Warriors and the Chicago Bulls meet at the United Center on Sunday night.

The Golden State Warriors will be hoping to avoid a third straight loss after getting absolutely blown off the floor in a 138-99 road loss on Christmas day. Stephen Curry led the team with 19 points and six assists on six of 17 shooting, James Wiseman added 18 points with eight rebounds and three blocks while Andrew Wiggins chipped in with 12 points on six of 18 shooting. As a team, the Warriors shot a horrendous 34 percent from the field and 10 of 45 from the 3-point line which was never going to be enough to hang with the Bucks who exploded for 72 points in the second half to make it a blowout.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls are in similar form as they are also searching for their first win of the season after getting blown out by the Pacers in a 125-106 home loss last night. Zach LaVine led the team with 17 points, Lauri Markkanen added 16 points with nine rebounds while Coby White chipped in with 12 points. As a team, the Bulls shot a miserable 37 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they took it to the Pacers early, behind some hot shooting from White, but they were always playing from behind after allowing the Pacers to pour in 39 points in the second quarter. The Bulls committed a total of 20 turnovers as a team which just kept from making any significant run against the pesky defense of the Pacers.

Looking at the betting trends, the Warriors are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, 8-20 ATS in their last 28 Sunday games and 4-0 ATS in their last four road games against a team with a losing home record. The Bulls are 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing on zero days rest, 4-1 ATS in their last five Sunday games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a losing record.

Head to head, the under is 11-5 in the last 16 meetings in Chicago and the Warriors are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall.

The Warriors must be low on confidence after suffering two tough losses to being the season, but at least now they’re up against the struggling Bulls who have yet to earn a win themselves. The Bulls have a great chance to arrest their slide against the shorthanded Warriors, but if they turn it over like they did last night, I don’t see them hanging with the Warriors who at least have one superstar in Curry. This should be a close one, but I’m going with the Warriors to snap out of their funk behind a big game from Curry.
