The Cleveland Cavaliers play host to the Boston Celtics at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

The Boston Celtics have been in great form as they’ve won five of their past seven games, but they will be looking to bounce back here after falling short against the Jazz in a 117-109 home loss last night. Jayson Tatum led the team with 29 points on 12 of 24 shooting, Jaylen Brown added 28 points with seven assists, Kemba Walker scored 16 points while Daniel Theis chipped in with 15 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 49 percent from the field and 10 of 29 from the 3-point line as they fought hard to take the narrow lead in the third quarter, before falling apart in the fourth quarter where the Jazz exploded for 40 points to steal the game.

Meanwhile, Cleveland Cavaliers have been in rough shape lately as they will be hoping to put an end to a four-game slide after getting routed by the Heat in a 113-98 road loss last night. Collin Sexton led the team with 21 points, JaVale McGee added 16 points off the bench, Larry Nance Jr. scored 14 points while Darius Garland chipped in with 11 points. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 45 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line as they got off to a slow start and fell behind by double-digits early on, before getting blown out in the third quarter where the Heat poured in 33 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Celtics are 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games, 0-4 ATS in their last four games playing on zero days’ rest and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a losing record. The Cavaliers are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against a team with a winning record and 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 5-1 in the last six meetings overall and the Celtics are 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Celtics were in on a nice run before getting stopped by the Jazz at home last night, so they will be keen to get back into the win column against a struggling Cavaliers team who are currently riding a four-game losing streak. The Celtics are 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games and they are playing this one on zero days’ rest, but they should be good enough to take down a slumping Cavaliers team who are 5-15 ATS in their last 20 games overall.
